1986: I remember.

Got up late today. Popped open a web browser (my homepage is set to CNN.com) and almost skipped over the headlines entirely. They're always the same any more. Today, however, it was different...
Breaking News: Shuttle and crew lost.
It's funny. They've just "lost contact" with the Shuttle. It "broke up". The crew...well, somehow, they're trying to hold out hope for the crew. Including the first Israeli astronaut. My heart breaks.
I remember Challenger. I was home that day, either sick or playing sick, watching the launch on TV when it blew up. I wonder what happened...
