open season on interpretations: "ancient" - Nobody wears a white coat any more... — LiveJournal
...a tribute to becoming a doctor.
open season on interpretations: "ancient"
I came/became a lady -
     - met her gaze perchance -
      held slow and sudden. She
  looked away
                    I know not why.

I took my leisure,
          studied curves
      and angled eyes, slant
   and sloe.

witch - Jezebel -
      Goddess. Her
              full-moon belly whole
   and significant.
           Not mine to claim.
and in her eyes
        Once briefly, I
   thought I saw
      a sullen moon,
              hung low,
 and garlanded with stars.

Nice to see poetry from you again; I wonder sometimes if you still write it. I have always liked your work.

It's been a long time since I've written any. It felt good to know I still have some in me.
