Mmmm, yummy.
Spent today cleaning and polishing and sorting. Spent our Office Depot reward certificates on a diamond-cut paper shredder that also shreds credit cards; shredded credit cards and clapped my hands like a little girl at the grinding noises.

Dinner was chicken parmesan and risotto (saffron risotto) and fresh steamed green beans with sauteed mushrooms; my Angel made apple crisp with the last of the apples his mother sent up in paper sacks. It was lovely and delicious. I taught my mother that epicurious.com has lovely recipes, and we showed off Japan pictures and told stories. We gave her the vase we bought for her. Her spider plant that she gave me as a spiderling in a can is huge and lush and threatening to overgrow its pot; she was duly impressed.
This is a nice house. I like this house. It is a good place.

Tomorrow alythe is hosting a library-sponsored "learn to play D&D" for the teenagers. I have been asked to GM for it. This should be fun, and after we are off to play in the occasional campaign.

Is it me, or is "game master" not nearly as fun a title as "dungeon master"? Irrespective of the fact that most D&D games don't take place in a dungeon...

I like "Dungon Master" better, but what can you do?

Also, I mostly prefer B-Movie's EM - Evil Mastermind - to all of them :)
