Second-best Christmas present to date!
Best, of course, was my engagement ring.

We opened early presents, one each. Angel made T-shirts of our World of Warcraft main characters for each of us! So here's Avara! :)

More perhaps later; now I am going to go snuggle for Christmas Eve, and watch the CBS Christmas Eve special presented by the Church of the Brethren.

Wheeeee! Fun! What did you think? I'm still digesting said service...

Well, I'm still getting over the "Ohmigosh! That's Ben Long!" and the reading of the participants and realizing that in that children's choir was Claire Brumbaugh-Smith.

But I thought the message was lovely, timely and simple. And it felt...well, like home.

LOL...yeah, I guess I've seen Ben Long fairly recently and Claire and Becca Rich, etc. recently enough to not have flipped out too much. The guy in the plain coat playing the steel drums cracked me up the most. How cool?! Kelly Burk was one of our Ministry Summer Service orientation speakers. Christopher Bowman looks eerily like Bob, hmm, wonder why ;) Kendra Flory rocks; she was in Elgin some of the time I was and got Janelle to email me wonderful tips on life in Marburg...

Is it wrong of me to hope that Manchester ACC will end up in Schwarzenau in 2008 (not ruling out the possibility of combined ensembles)?

Can't wait to read any Gospel Messenger blog updates on this now. Brethren satire. Will get you the url for that sometime if you want...mwah hah.

Must stop reveling in Brethren geekiness and appreciate the season for what it is!

Sweet shirt. Hope you had a merry christmas and have a happy new year. I have cards, but....getting out to pass them out has been complicated by life.
