...a tribute to becoming a doctor.
No, no, you said it wrong...
He looks at me, across martini glasses and a bowl of four-cheese-artichoke-spinach dip, fresh bread and olive oil for dipping. "You said it wrong," he insists at me, "you have the emphasis wrong."
"Then how would you say it?"
"Triumphantly. I married this woman."

We went out for dinner tonight, because we always go out for dinner to celebrate the end of a rotation. We went to the Blu Tomato, which is a little place we've never been, the neighbourhood grill counterpart of Catablu. And it was scrumptious, and the waitress was cute and friendly and just attentive enough.
And we came back and watched Kill Bill vol. 1, and I don't know if I'm going to have nightmares or not, but it was fun.

And I married this man, who comes up behind me in Radio Shack as I am browsing something so unsexy as car phone headsets, and he wraps his arms around me and he inhales deeply, kisses the sensitive skin at the nape of my neck, without a word. I married this man.
And O, God, I am so very very blessed.

Who is this that appears like the dawn, /
Fair as the moon, bright as the sun, /
Majestic as the stars in procession?
