Bleah, bleah, bleah.

Woke up this morning congested and sore-throaty. Went to orientation, was duly oriented, and then got my passwords set up. Switched call with Joe, giving me no Saturday calls, but obligating me to make sure he wasn't hosed by the switch. I have thus spent quite some time composing a schedule of weekend rounding that I hope will satisfy.

Went to noon conference, met my patient, and was told to go on home. OA, the chief, is very nice and laid-back, and I'm looking forward to working with him. Updated iatrogenesis this afternoon, with a bunch of technical mumbo-jumbo. After, of course, sleeping for a few more hours. I feel like poo.
No fever, just sore throat, stuffy nose, and sneezing. A generic URI, complicated by the zit that makes my nose hurt every time I blow it, and by the horrible kleenex at the hospital. I need fluids and rest.
Popping Nyquil means I can sleep tonight, hopefully. I have to be in in time to pre-round before work rounds at 0700. I hope tomorrow I feel better - I've been looking forward to this rotation.
Good night, O Best Beloved. Sleep sweetly.
